This fall, I joined a "prosperity container" hosted by a close friend as she embarked on a new business venture. You might be wondering, "What exactly is a prosperity container?" Well, in this case, it's a daily meditation practice within an intentional community. As a bonus, we've also been gifted mastermind classes on business strategy and Kundalini yoga sessions as part of the experience. For me, prosperity feels like learning from others and sharing what I know.

We’re currently on day 72 of the container, and this experience has led me to reflect deeply on what prosperity means to me—through a multi-faceted lens. Prosperity, when viewed through the lens of survival, often looks like money—cash to purchase the commodities and comforts of life. But in practice, prosperity is so much more.

For me, prosperity looks like the extra time in the morning to write a blog post, the ability to make space for meditation, and the freedom to follow my daily routines uninterrupted. In this container, prosperity has also taken the form of support from a community of driven women, each finding prosperity in their own ways. It's in my international work trips, a growing community of joy-seeking yogis, my loving family and friends who uplift me, and so much more.

While life certainly has its challenges and can sometimes be downright devastating, I’ve come to recognize that prosperity isn’t something that can be bought. True prosperity is realizing that I am already living the good life. One that has not always been this stable. I have a safe home, warmth (appreciated in Arizona winters 😅), children who are thriving, a beautiful and sweet grandchild, a supportive and hilarious husband, and an incredible community cheering me on as I explore new directions.

How do you see prosperity? Is it merely financial rewards—earned or unexpected? Or can prosperity be a way of experiencing life, not through rose-colored glasses, but through a filter of gratitude and abundance?

I plan to continue this container with these amazing women until day 120. It’s been an enriching experience, and I want to fully solidify this meditation in my life. If you’d like to join us for the last 40 days, you’re welcome to! My friend Jess is offering entry to anyone interested in catching the final stretch of our practice. You can sign up on her site and join the prosperity container—I’d love to see you there!
